TThis page includes photos from the beginning of Spring, when I first arrived. It was a strange season. April was an unusually wet month, and Fairbanks experienced impressive floods. Also, a sudden little whirlwind hit the yurt and damaged the hayshed on the property where I stayed. The outhouse for the yurt was built in the Spring, and soon after, construction on the kitchen was begun -- you can see the stove waiting for installment. Lastly, I finally got to see moose, after weeks of finding evidence right outside my door.
